Empowering Women Across Cultures

On 3rd February 2026, SLIIN, in collaboration with the Participatory Development Foundation (PDF), hosted The Innerwork Lab Female Leadership Program in Anamaduwa, Sri Lanka. Six inspiring female leaders from The Innerwork Lab, led by Ms. Anita Tamming, participated in a field visit under the Diriliya Project, implemented by SLIIN with the support from Microcredit for Mothers (MfM) and Wilde Ganzen, Netherlands.
During the visit, the leaders engaged with women micro-entrepreneurs supported through SLIIN’s microcredit program, fostering a powerful environment for knowledge exchange, shared experiences, and cross-cultural learning on women’s empowerment.
The Innerwork Lab generously contributed EUR 3,500 to enhance the wellbeing, skills, and business growth of these women entrepreneurs. The program also featured a cultural immersion with local cuisine, providing a deeper understanding of rural Sri Lankan life.
The initiative was warmly received and served as an inspiration for all involved. SLIIN looks forward to continuing such partnerships to uplift women and communities in the future.
