A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka during the first half of this year, following the postponement of the fifth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), which was originally set for 15 December last year but was delayed due to Cyclone Ditwah.
Although the fifth review has now been technically completed, the IMF Executive Board was initially expected to consider and approve the review at its December meeting.
